This dwarf, spreading form of Chinese Astilbe produces fluffy mauve-pink plumes atop compact, lacy foliage -- a versatile groundcover, edging plant, or front-of-border accent. Of all the Chinese Astilbe types, this one tolerates dry soil the best, and its spreading rhizomes make it an effective, low groundcover in shade. Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
